Who knows how one pair of eyes Can hold so much soul, so much wonder One can only ponder How they have so much depth so young An astounding imagination You can see the Indiana Jones adventure Or the princess in her tower, just looking into those eyes Shining so bright, with hope and pleasure So much in someone so small A mind that bests any adult's Creative hands, make their own Van Gogh Just through a glob of finger paint Small hand inside yours So fragile, yet so strong The wonderment of being so young The magic that's inside them Look into a child's eyes See everything you wish you still had *2013- Bailey C.
