(poem) The Candle
When I've lost all hope And don't know what to do I can count on my candle To always get me through In the night its flame flickers Beckoning sweet dreams I lay my head on my pillow And see many pretty scenes Its sweet vanilla scent Goes wafting through the air Making my toes tingle And making the flame flair I touch it's smooth surface As wax slides slowly down the side I feel its pleasant warmth I let the candle be my guide As the morning comes I blow the candle out And wait in anticipation for the night To bring the candle flame about *2013- Bailey C.
